Free PIN Generator

From device lock codes to one-time passcodes and test data, PINs are everywhere — and '1234' isn't a PIN, it's an invitation. The PIN Generator creates genuinely random numeric codes of any length from 3 to 12 digits, with controls for leading zeros and adjacent repeats, in batches up to 100.

Private by design. This tool runs 100% in your browser — generated PINs are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

How to Use the PIN Generator

  1. Choose the PIN length (4–6 digits is typical) and batch size.
  2. Set leading-zero and repeated-digit preferences.
  3. Click Generate PINs.
  4. Copy the list for one-time codes, device PINs, or test data.

Features

3–12 digit PINs; up to 100 per batch; leading-zero control; no-adjacent-repeat option; copy all.

Benefits & Use Cases

Provision device PINs, generate test OTP data, create door-code sets, or produce numeric tokens for SMS-style flows in staging.

Tips

Longer beats 'clever' — a random 6-digit PIN is 100x stronger than a 4-digit one. Never use dates, repeating, or sequential digits for real locks.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long should a PIN be?

6 digits is the modern baseline (1M combinations); 4 digits (10K) is weak against determined guessing. Use 6+ wherever the system allows.

Why avoid adjacent repeats?

Patterns like 1123 are among the first guesses in PIN attacks. The option filters them out, slightly shrinking the pool but removing the most guessable codes.

Can PINs be secure?

As a second factor or device lock with rate limiting, yes. As a sole credential, they are short by nature — pair with lockouts and throttling.

Are these PINs unique?

Each is drawn independently with secure randomness, so duplicates are possible but unlikely. For guaranteed-unique batches, use the random number generator in unique mode.
