Free Reddit Share Link Generator
Reddit’s submit page accepts a URL, title, and even a target subreddit right in the link. Build the exact submit URL here — with your title prefilled and an optional r/ community preselected — then test it with the live Open button.
How to Use the Reddit Share Link Generator
- Enter the URL to submit and an optional post title.
- Optionally target a subreddit (without the r/ prefix).
- Click Generate submit link, then copy it or press Open to test.
Features
Generates reddit.com/submit or r/subreddit/submit URLs with prefilled URL and title, proper encoding, copy button, and Open-to-test.
Benefits & Use Cases
“Submit to Reddit” buttons with prefilled titles lower the friction for readers to share your content in the right community.
Tips
Read the target subreddit’s rules before encouraging submissions — many communities restrict self-promotion and require specific title formats.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Reddit submit URL work?
reddit.com/submit?url=…&title=… opens the submit page with those fields prefilled; adding /r/community/ preselects the subreddit.
Is the subreddit required?
No. Without it, the user picks the community themselves on the submit page.
Can I prefill the post body text?
Reddit’s submit URL supports url and title for link posts. Text posts cannot be prefilled this way.
Will this bypass subreddit rules?
No — all community rules, karma requirements, and moderator filters still apply at submit time.
